The Hwehtaik hydropower project in Lahe, Sagaing Region, will provide electricity to 1,718 households and 12 nearby villages. The project features a four megawatt capacity turbine, generating 20.381 million kilowatt hours annually. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected the project's progress and emphasized timely construction before the rainy season to enhance local socioeconomic conditions.
