Iceberg Quantum Introduces Pinnacle Architecture, Claims Sub-100K Qubits for RSA-2048 Breakthrough and Secures $6M Funding

QUANTUM COMPUTING

Iceberg Quantum has launched its Pinnacle architecture, claiming it can break RSA-2048 with fewer than 100,000 qubits. The company raised $6 million in seed funding led by LocalGlobe, with involvement from Blackbird and DCVC.

Pinnacle utilizes quantum LDPC codes for improved efficiency in error correction, facilitating fault-tolerant quantum computing. The funding will support team expansion and partnerships with quantum hardware firms like PsiQuantum, Diraq, and IonQ, as well as establishing an office in Berlin.
