Ignite Power has set a record in Rwanda by deploying 1,500 solar home systems daily, providing electricity to 6,000 people. Since winning a tender from Rwanda's Energy Development Corporation Ltd (EDCL), Ignite installed over 14,970 units in ten days.

The project aims to connect 250,000 homes within two years, valued at $38 million. Ignite's solar systems are noted as the most affordable in East Africa, with a micro lending option allowing payments of $6 per month.
