India and Seychelles Sign $175 Million Special Economic Package and MoUs

India and Seychelles have signed a $175 million Special Economic Package during a meeting between PM Modi and President Herminie. The package aims to support social housing, e-mobility, vocational training, health, defense, and maritime security projects, creating employment and skill development opportunities in Seychelles.
The agreement includes $125 million in a rupee-denominated line of credit and $50 million in grants. The countries also signed several Memoranda of Understanding to enhance bilateral relations.
