India has significantly increased military procurement from the U.S., reaching $20 billion, making it the third-largest arms supplier after Russia and France. Key deals include a $1 billion contract for F404 engines from General Electric for the Tejas Mk-1A aircraft and negotiations to co-produce F414 engines for the Tejas Mk-2.

The U.S. also approved arms sales worth $92.8 million for Javelin missiles and additional MQ-9B drones. India aims to modernize its military capabilities while balancing relationships with both the U.S. and France.
