India Provides $60 Million for KKS Port Development in Northern Sri Lanka

India is set to invest $60 million in the renovation of Kankesanthurai Port in Sri Lanka's Jaffna district, aiming to boost tourism and improve infrastructure, including Palaly Airport. Additionally, the Indian Army has completed a third Bailey bridge on the B-492 Highway, restoring vital connectivity after Cyclone Ditwah, as part of Operation Sagar Bandhu focused on humanitarian assistance and infrastructure restoration.
