Indian Army Awards Contract to Nibe for Elbit Systems PULS Rocket Launchers

The Indian Army has awarded a contract worth INR29.3 billion (US$35 million) to Nibe for the delivery of Elbit Systems' PULS long-range multiple rocket launchers, with initial production units expected within twelve months. The agreement follows a prior contract for local production and technology transfer, and the Indian version, named Suryastra, was first showcased at the Republic Day parade. The PULS system, capable of firing multiple rocket types, is also of interest to other countries, including Israel, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
