Indian Army Proposes Fund to Support Startups During User Trials
DEFENSE
The Indian Army has proposed a Field Exploitation and Capability Acceleration Fund to protect startups from financial losses during user trials. The proposal addresses concerns over startups' struggles following equipment failures and transportation challenges during trials.
Many startups lack the financial capacity to recover from losses, discouraging innovation. The fund aims to support startups through high-risk stages and is included in the draft Defence Acquisition Procedure under Low Cost Capital Assets.
