Indian Lake High School Students Build Historic 1841 Cannon for Kenton Community

DEFENSE

Indian Lake High School students have successfully built an 1841 Napoleon six-pounder cannon for the Kenton community, under the guidance of teacher Ed Rogers and supervisor David Snapp. Funded by the Armory Foundation and Quest Federal Credit Union, the project took three months to complete and will be displayed outside the Hardin County Armory, where it will be fired during Memorial Day observances to honor local veterans. This initiative highlights the importance of hands-on education and community engagement.
