The Indian Navy will showcase the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant and the historic ship INSV Kaundinya at the Republic Day Parade 2026, alongside Gurab class ships and Project 17A Nilgiri-class frigates. A contingent of 144 personnel will represent various States and Union Territories, led by Lt Karan Nagyal, while the Indian Navy Band will perform during the Beating Retreat Ceremony on January 29, 2026. The Indian Air Force and Indian Army will preview their participation on January 22 and 23, 2026, respectively.
