Indonesian Army Commander Transfers Lieutenant General Widi Prasetijono Amid Legal Case

Indonesian National Army Commander Agus Subiyanto has transferred Lieutenant General Widi Prasetijono and 186 other high-ranking officers amid an ongoing legal case involving alleged money laundering linked to PT Cilacap Segara Artha, resulting in a state loss of IDR 237 billion. Widi, previously a professor at the Defense University, will now serve as Special Staff to the Chief of Army Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak. The officer rotation aims to enhance the organizational structure and operational readiness of the TNI.
