The Horizon SOLAR-MOVE project, led by INESC-ID, aims to promote EV adoption through integrated photovoltaic solutions. Kicking off in November 2025, the project will last 42 months with a €7 million grant and involve 34 partners across 16 countries.

It will develop Vehicle-Integrated Photovoltaic solutions and Electric Vehicle Compliant Parking Lot Integrated PV charging stations to support electrified road transport and alleviate power grid pressure. Pilot projects will be conducted in seven countries, contributing to policy recommendations and regulatory frameworks.
