Innoson Group is set to establish a new plant in Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria, for the production of compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks and electric vehicles, with a capacity to manufacture approximately 3,000 units annually. The facility, expected to be operational soon, will create 2,000 jobs by 2026 and include a technical training program for local youth, aimed at enhancing manufacturing capabilities and reducing reliance on imported vehicles.
