Interlune Secures $5 Million Funding for Lunar Resource Extraction Initiative

Interlune, a Seattle-based company, has secured $5 million in funding to advance its lunar resource extraction initiative, focusing on helium-3. With $500,000 already raised from six investors, the funding will support preparations for upcoming lunar missions, including a partnership with Astrolab to deploy a multispectral camera on the moon this summer. Founded in 2020, Interlune has previously raised $18 million in seed capital and collaborates with various organizations for technology development in lunar helium-3 extraction.
