Involute Metal Powders Technologies (IMPT) has launched a portfolio of indigenous technologies to enhance India's powder metallurgy sector. With over 40 years of experience, IMPT has established metal powder manufacturing units producing various powders, including copper, bronze, and sponge iron.

The company's proprietary reduction technologies and furnace designs improve material performance for automotive and engineering applications. Despite high domestic demand, India still imports many metal powders.

IMPT's technology provides an opportunity for import substitution, particularly in non-ferrous powders, like its partially alloyed bronze. The initiative aligns with national priorities in electric vehicles, renewable energy, electronics, and defense materials, aimed at increasing domestic production and reducing reliance on imports.
