Information Services Group (ISG) has initiated a research study focusing on service providers that assist aerospace and defense (A&D) organizations in optimizing operations through emerging digital technologies. The study aims to address the industry's need to shorten design and testing processes and enhance production efficiency amid rising production pressures and geopolitical tensions.

Results will be published in a series of ISG Provider Lens reports, titled Aerospace and Defense Services and Solutions, set for release in May 2026. The reports will analyze providers offering A&D engineering, maintenance, and supply chain management services. ISG has surveyed over 120 A&D service providers and will produce five quadrants representing key service categories, including Engineering, Design, and Innovation, and specialized services for midsize A&D enterprises.
