Italy is developing a military satellite capable of deploying micro-drones with advanced sensors for space observation. The Multispada project, funded by the Defense Ministry, involves Nurjana Technologies and D-Orbit.

Currently in the study phase, it focuses on operational scenario definition and military requirements. Approximately €1.2 million is allocated for the first phase, and €1.46 million for the second, totaling nearly €2.7 million.
