Japan Semiconductor Signs vPPA for Floating Solar Project in Kagawa Prefecture

Japan Semiconductor, a Toshiba subsidiary, has entered into a virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) with Kunishitaike Mega Float for environmental attribute certificates from a 7.8MW floating solar project in Kagawa Prefecture. This agreement, which aims to reduce Japan Semiconductor's greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 4,173 tons annually, supports Toshiba's goal of achieving 100% decarbonization of its manufacturing sites by 2030.
