Jersey Government Approves Sale of Taxpayer-Owned House with Pool for £790,000
DEFENSE
The Jersey government has approved the sale of a taxpayer-owned five-bedroom house with a swimming pool for £790,000, as it was deemed a financial burden. Initially listed at £850,000, the property was re-marketed after a previous offer fell through, with the Minister for Infrastructure noting that the new offer reflects its condition and needed restoration. The house, purchased for £225,000 in 1991, was previously designated for use by the Territorial Army.
