Khalifa Bin Salman Port Achieves Operational Milestones and Invests Over $162 Million in Upgrades

Khalifa Bin Salman Port, managed by APM Terminals Bahrain, has achieved notable operational milestones, ranking first in the Global Container Terminal Performance Index for similar-sized ports and earning the 'Port of the Year 2025' title. The port has seen over $162 million invested in upgrades, contributing more than $350 million in concession revenues to the Bahraini government, with an additional $30 million earmarked for expanding marine services, including new LNG-powered tugboats.
