The Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) has invested $300 million in a combined heat and power (CHP) plant project in Europe, which will supply energy to 400,000 households by replacing an aging thermal power plant. The project, supported by KIND through all stages, aims to generate 110 MW of electricity and 90 MW of heat, with financing efforts set to finalize a loan agreement by Q1 2026. KIND's involvement underscores its commitment to expanding ESG-based infrastructure investments in Europe.
