KN Energies Launches Open Season for Long-Term LNG Capacity at Klaipeda Terminal

KN Energies has launched an open season for long-term LNG capacity at the Klaipeda FSRU in Lithuania, offering a total of 28 TWh/year from 2033 to 2044 in packages of 4 TWh each. The terminal, which has seen increased activity with a record 34 LNG vessels unloaded in 2025, serves as a crucial import gateway for central and eastern Europe, with plans for future expansions to enhance transit capabilities. Results from the allocation process are expected to be announced in April and May.
