KS Orka Renewables Expands Geothermal Capacity in Indonesia, Achieving a Significant Milestone

KS Orka Renewables has successfully commissioned Unit 5 of the Sorik Marapi geothermal power plant in North Sumatra, increasing its total geothermal capacity to over 200 megawatts. This 33 megawatt addition is part of Indonesia's broader renewable energy strategy, aiming for a 44% clean energy mix by 2030.

The company is also working on the Sokoria geothermal power plant, which will further enhance renewable energy supply in East Nusa Tenggara. KS Orka emphasizes community development alongside its technological innovations, aiming to foster both environmental sustainability and local benefits.
