Lackawanna College has commenced construction on its Career & Technical Innovation (CTI) Center in Scranton, aimed at enhancing workforce development by aligning education with industry needs. Set to open in summer 2026, the 24,000 square-foot facility will offer programs in robotics, automotive systems, cybersecurity, and communications technology, supported by a public-private partnership and tax credits from Coterra Energy. This initiative builds on the success of previous educational programs to address workforce shortages in the region.
