LG Uplus has announced the adoption of quantum-resistant cryptography standards for its software-defined networking (SDN) interface and the NTRU lattice-based digital signature scheme, SOLMAE, by the Telecommunications Technology Association. These standards enhance security for 5G and 6G networks and data centers, enabling real-time monitoring and certificate management. LG Uplus plans to initiate pilot projects with public institutions and financial companies in the coming year, aiming to expand applications in areas such as 6G communications and smart factories.
