The Liberia National Commission on Arms (LINCA) launched its Five-Year Strategic Plan (2026-2030) on February 12, 2026, in Monrovia. The plan aims to prevent and control illicit arms proliferation, aligning with the Government of Liberia's ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.
Key priorities include human resource development, decentralization of arms control, policy enforcement, resource mobilization, and collaboration with security partners. The initiative seeks to enhance national security and promote responsible gun ownership.
