Lifespring Church, which recently acquired the 94-year-old Drill Hall in Denne Road, is applying to Horsham District Council for a variation of its premises licence. The application seeks to extend opening hours, allow live music, and add boxing and wrestling as licensable activities.

Historically, the Drill Hall served as a military headquarters for the 4th Royal Sussex Regiment and later for the Territorial Army before being sold to Lifespring Church in July. The council previously indicated that the sale would enable significant investment in the hall to maintain its status as a community facility.
