The Lithuanian Armed Forces has procured 155 mm HE L15A1 artillery shells from KNDS Ammo Italy S.p.A. for approximately EUR 3.6 million. This acquisition is part of the Ministry of National Defence's ongoing investment strategy to enhance national defense capabilities and ensure sufficient ammunition stockpiles for operational readiness. The shells will be utilized with the 155 mm PzH 2000 artillery systems, effective against various battlefield targets.
