Lithuania has incorporated the Hornet XR fixed-wing drones into its defense modernization strategy, showcasing their capabilities during a visit by Danish royalty and local officials. Designed for intelligence collection with a range of 50 kilometers and three hours of autonomous flight, the Hornet XR enhances unmanned operations within the National Defence Volunteers and the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union. This initiative supports Lithuania's total defense concept, emphasizing rapid mobilization and situational awareness, and builds on combat feedback from its use in Ukraine.
