Lockheed Martin Advances Production of Sentinel A4 Radars for US Army

DEFENSE

Lockheed Martin has begun transitioning the Sentinel A4 radar from low-rate initial production to full-rate production, having delivered the first unit to the US Army. Designed to replace the legacy Sentinel A3 radar, the new system features a 360-degree AESA sensor and enhances detection capabilities against airborne threats, including rockets and drones. The US Army has been testing the radar, with full-rate production expected to follow the planned delivery of 19 units in the current production phase.
