Lockheed Martin is seeking new markets for its Global Mobile Artillery Rocket System (GMARS), developed in collaboration with Germany's Rheinmetall. The GMARS, based on the HX truck platform, targets the German market.

It is an advancement of the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and utilizes a Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles HX-series 8×8 truck chassis. The system features a new two-pod launcher capable of firing Multiple Launch Rocket System munitions, ensuring long-range and high-precision capabilities.
