Lockheed Martin to Increase THAAD Interceptor Production to 400 Annually Under Pentagon Agreement

Lockheed Martin has entered a seven-year agreement with the US Department of Defense to increase production of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptors from 96 to 400 annually, addressing rising military tensions with Iran and China. The company will invest over $5 billion to enhance production capabilities across several states and establish a new Munitions Acceleration Center in Camden, Arkansas. This initiative follows a previous agreement to boost PAC-3 interceptor production, reinforcing US military readiness.
