In spring 2025, Locus Energy, a portfolio company of SEB Nordic Energy, acquired three small-scale hydropower plants in Norway, contributing approximately 15 GWh of annual renewable energy. The plants, operational since 2001 to 2012, are strategically located near existing assets, enhancing operational efficiency and aligning with the company's cluster strategy. The Norwegian price area No3 is expected to see rising electricity prices due to improved grid infrastructure, making it a prime region for renewable energy investments.
