Log 9 Materials Secures $8.5 Million in Series A+ Funding Led by Amara Raja Batteries
Log 9 Materials has raised $8.5 million in Series A+ funding, with Amara Raja Batteries as the anchor investor contributing $5 million. The funding will support the development of advanced battery technologies, including Rapid Charging Battery Packs and Aluminum Fuel Cells, aimed at enhancing electric mobility in India.
The investment aligns with Amara Raja's 'Energy & Mobility' strategy to adopt green technologies. Log 9 aims to scale manufacturing operations and expand production capacity for its innovations, which are set for commercial rollout in October 2021.
Other investors include Exfinity Ventures, Sequoia Capital India's Surge Programme, and several strategic angels. The total funding target for this round is between $10 million and $12 million.
