Long Island Manufacturing Center Secures $30 Million Grant from New York State

DEFENSE

The Regional Commercialization Corridor, a proposed manufacturing center on Long Island, has secured a $30 million grant from New York State to support entrepreneurs in product development and financing. The 50,000-square-foot facility, which will focus on aerospace/defense, clean energy, and cyber physical systems, is expected to open in late 2027 and achieve self-sustainability by 2030. This grant is part of a larger $150 million allocation to four projects selected from a competition among the state's Regional Economic Development Councils.
