Long Wall Develops Low-Cost Space Missile Interceptor with Scalable Production Capabilities

DEFENSE

Long Wall has developed its first EKV prototype and begun testing, emphasizing component choices for scalable production. This design could enable the Cyclops interceptors to be produced in hundreds or thousands, contrasting with the typical production of dozens for existing systems.

The interceptor supports a distributed, layered defense strategy, positioning interceptors across multiple locations to complicate enemy attack planning. Long Wall has also created a containerized launching system that can be deployed on land or ships with minimal infrastructure.

The launcher fits inside a standard shipping container for quick transport and emplacement, and its low cost allows for expendability in certain scenarios, providing commanders with increased flexibility. An initial launcher test unit has been built, and a self-funded development campaign is underway using simulators based on the THAAD system.
