L&T Metro Rail Opens 1.2 MW Solar Plant at Uppal Depot, Increasing Capacity to 12.41 MWp

L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) inaugurated a 1.2 MWp solar power plant at Uppal depot, raising total capacity to 12.41 MWp. The solar installations now contribute approximately 16% of Hyderabad Metro Rail's energy consumption, up from 14%.
Chief Electrical Inspector D.V.S. Raju, along with L&T Metro officials, inspected the facility and emphasized the importance of minimizing operational failures.
