Mack Anderson of Orange, Texas, has been granted a U.S. patent for his multi-function emergency power devices, which combine solar charging, hand-crank power, wall charging, and LED lighting to assist during power outages and disasters. After nearly a decade of development, two of his products are now available online through Walmart, receiving positive feedback for their portability and versatility. Anderson plans to work with local leaders in Southeast Texas to improve community disaster preparedness.
