The Maharashtra government has approved extensive development projects worth several thousand crore rupees for the upcoming Kumbh Mela in Nashik-Trimbakeshwar, focusing on infrastructure improvements through the Kumbh Mela Development Authority. Key initiatives include the 'Ramkal Path' to boost spiritual tourism, a proposed 65-kilometre ring road for urban development, and the 'Green Nashik' initiative, which has seen the planting of over 15,000 trees. Additionally, support schemes for farmers and an aerial display by the Indian Air Force aim to inspire youth engagement in the Armed Forces.
