Maibarara Geothermal Inc. is gearing up for a deep exploration drilling program next year to test an undrilled area that may hold additional geothermal resources. This initiative was discussed with New Zealand Ambassador Catherine McIntosh during her recent visit to the Maibarara geothermal power plant.

The company, which currently generates 32 megawatts of energy, aims to enhance its geothermal capacity and contribute to the Philippines' clean energy supply. The collaboration with New Zealand has been pivotal in Maibarara's development, with ongoing support for Filipino geothermal professionals.
