Marina City Council Declares 1.3-Acre Property Surplus for Development

The Marina City Council declared a 1.3-acre property surplus on Feb. 18, allowing for potential development after the demolition of Army barracks. A gas station is under construction, and two hotels are planned.

Six dilapidated structures remain. The city will notify developers for a 60-day interest period, followed by a 90-day negotiation with a focus on affordable housing.
