Marinvest Energy is promoting a mega LNG project in Baie-Comeau, Quebec, as part of a 'Quebec Canada mission' in Europe. The project involves a gas pipeline and an LNG production plant designed to export gas from Western Canada.

Both Quebec and Canadian governments are open to the project but consider it too early for a definitive stance. Marinvest has not yet submitted a project proposal and is focusing on preliminary discussions with Indigenous communities and stakeholders.
