Masdar has signed a Power Purchase Agreement for the 150MW Quipungo Solar Photovoltaic project in Angola, its first in the country, as part of a larger 500MW renewable energy initiative. The project aims to enhance Angola's southern power grid and is expected to create over 2,000 jobs while providing clean electricity to approximately 300,000 homes. This agreement aligns with Masdar's goal of expanding its renewable energy capacity in Africa and achieving 100GW globally by 2030.
