George Mason University's Costello College of Business has appointed Mike Derrios as the executive director of the Greg and Camille Baroni Center for Government Contracting. Derrios has extensive experience in federal government, military, and private sector acquisitions.

He previously served as the U.S. Coast Guard's Head of Contracting Activity, managing an average annual spend of $3 billion. He also held leadership roles at the Transportation Security Administration, overseeing checkpoint technology programs and the TSA PreCheck expansion.

His career includes work as a contracting officer in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard.
