Minister for Defence Industry Pat Conroy and MP Meryl Swanson visited the Kongsberg Missile Factory in Williamtown, NSW, to review construction progress. The factory aims to establish a sovereign guided weapon manufacturing capability in Australia, with a focus on Naval Strike Missiles (NSM) and Joint Strike Missiles (JSM) for the Australian Defence Force.
