Mistral Inc. and UVision Inc. have been selected by the US Army's Program Executive Office Soldier for the HERO-90 loitering munition as part of the Low Altitude Stalking and Strike Ordnance (LASSO) program. This system is designed to provide Brigade Combat Teams with man-portable, precision anti-armor capabilities, featuring a lightweight launcher and configurable warheads for rapid deployment and engagement of armored threats. The selection follows recent contracts for HERO 120 loitering munitions worth $982 million.
