Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma inaugurated the foundation stone for the 24 MW Tuirini Small Hydro Electricity Power Project, funded by a ₹676.98 crore loan from the New Development Bank. The project, which will be financed 80% by the Central Government and 20% by the State Government, is expected to be completed within five years. The Chief Minister also noted ongoing solar initiatives in the state, contributing to Mizoram's energy self-reliance.
