Montenegro's Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced that a feasibility study for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal and gas power plant, in collaboration with Japan's JERA, is set to be completed by June 2026. The study will evaluate the project's technical, commercial, and financial viability, following a memorandum of understanding signed in September 2023. This initiative aims to bolster Montenegro's energy security and contribute to regional energy efforts.
