This project aligns with Morocco's goal of sourcing 42% of its electricity from renewables by 2020 and highlights the country's transition from fossil fuel dependence. The plant is part of King Mohammed VI's vision to establish Morocco as a renewable energy leader, with plans to reduce CO2 emissions by 32% by 2030.
