Nipissing-Timiskaming MP Pauline Rochefort will announce funding to enhance local businesses' involvement in Canada's defence sector. The $15.8 million, part of a FedNor program, will be allocated over three years to connect local enterprises with national and international defense supply chains. This initiative is part of a broader $358 million national effort to strengthen Canada's defence capabilities and promote regional economic development.
